Ashland, Oregon, is a "big" little town, located about halfway between San Francisco, California, and Portland, Oregon on Interstate 5. Beautiful views, fresh air, a creek that runs through a very accessible downtown park (co-designed by John McLaren, who designed SF's Golden Gate Park), and a city-owned ski mountain draw residents and visitors alike. There is something for everyone just about every time of the year. While in town, come visit us for a beautiful dinner on our decks overlooking the downtown plaza or the creek, or, in the winter, around our fireplaces. We promise great food, a wide selection of local and national wines and beers, mixed drinks, and live music from great local bands to national acts. Locals know Alex's as the "place to be." We hope you join us for lunch, dinner, drinks, or music. For detailed information, see the Ashland Chamber of Commerce web site. Below are some of the major attractions and events.
